Still working really hard at promoting myself, in fact I spend most days chasing work and trying to land that elusive first commission, and alot less time is spent doing new artwork!
I get quite down-hearted at times and wonder if it is all worth it.

well, I think your art is really wonderful-- I think it is definitely worth your effort!! If I'm not mistaken, I saw an image of yours on the Dulwich Picture Gallery fairytale competition website and recognized it because you have such a unique and distinctive style. Good luck!
